Don't forget it's Fruity Friday this Friday. To celebrate we will all be dressing in yellow and taking part in some fruit themed activities!

We were all seeing red and white stripes in Pengam on Thursday 8th March as the school was invaded by a swarm of Where's Wallys. All the staff and children dressed up as characters from books to celebrate World Book Day. Lot's of fun was had by all. Click here to see some more photos from the day!

We have all thoroughly enjoyed taking part in Welsh Week this year, particularly performing in our Saint David's Day concert which was held at the Ebenezer Chapel and was a great success. CONGRATULATIONS to Leah Morgan and Luke Algeo in year 6 who have been chosen to be Pengam's Bronze Young Ambassadors. This is an important role which will involve them promoting sport and the Olympic Games through our school. They attended the launch at the Maes Manor Hotel on January 31st, along with all the other Bronze Ambassadors from Caerphilly. We are extremely proud of them and we know they will do a fantastic job!
