iOS8 is finally with us, here is a pick of some of the new features that you may find useful.

In iOS7 you had no direct access to files stored in another app, iOS8 will allow you to access documents created in one app via another app – providing the app supports this new feature, so this may take a while as apps are redeveloped.
Improved Camera and photo features
A new time lapse feature is available from within the camera app
Timer feature added to the camera app
Edit photos directly within your photo stream
Airdrop between devices
iOS8 now supports Airdrop between your Mac and iPads, Providing both devices are Airdrop capable you will need a 4th generation iPad (introduced late 2012).
With iOS8 apple announced you can now connect directly from your iPad to your Apple TV without the need to be connected to the wireless.
This is only available on 3rd generation Apple TV’s , and iOS devices introduced after 2012 click on the link for help identifying your device http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5452
You can now store presentations, spreadsheets, pdfs images and more on your iCloud drive
Word of caution you only have 5gb available and then it is a monthly subscription, depending on how you want to store documents, you may want to utilise your mac.
