The Head teacher, Chair of Governors, staff and Governors of Lewis Girls’ are delighted to announce that, despite a downward national trend in A level results, the school has seen a 10% rise in the achievement of A level and equivalent courses this year.

There were a huge number of individual success stories including Deputy head girl, Emily Borghese who achieved three A* and two A grades at A level, moving on to read Law at Warwick University. Eleri Hall achieved a bursary from Swansea University where she will be studying History as she achieved two A* and two A grades at A level. Vocational courses also performed exceptionally well with, for example, Lauren Roberts achieving a double distinction * and an A grade. She will study forensic investigation.

The school is very proud to confirm that 71 out of the 121 students achieved at least one A grade or equivalent.
