Examination Success 2010
by Mr M Yeoman - Wednesday, 1 September 2010, 09:02 PM

Lewis Girls’ School is going from strength to strength! Once again our students have surpassed expectations with outstanding GCSE, A Level and vocational results.

The GCSE students have been very well rewarded for their hard work they have put into their summer examinations by achieving the best ever results the school has ever experienced, with a fantastic 71.2% of the girls achieving 5 or more A* - C in GCSE and equivalent qualifications and 91.4% of the girls achieving 5 or more A* - G in GCSE and equivalent qualifications.

I am very proud of the outstanding results in A Levels, vocational A Levels and the Welsh Baccalaureate achieved by students in Lewis Girls’ School. The students have achieved fantastically well with 99% overall pass rate, 83% grades A* to C, and 66% grades A*, A and B.

As always the results reflect the hard work of all the students and staff in Lewis Girls’ School and the commitment and support of our parents. I would like to thank everyone for their hard work and support.
