The theme of this year’s Anti Bullying week is ‘Choose Respect.’ During the week, our pupils will be reminded about the definition of respect (one of our school rules) and that bullying is a behaviour choice. We will also learn that we can respectfully disagree with each other and that we don’t have to be best friends or always agree with each other but we do have to respect each other. In addition, we will discuss how we all need to choose to respect each other, both face to face and online.
Our School Council will be reviewing the Anti Bullying policy and during the week, our Head and Deputy Head boys and girls will be organising a fundraising event to raise money for new books for our Well-Being library. There will also be an ‘odd-socks day’ to raise awareness of bullying issues. Information will be sent out next week.

Inspection Notification The school has been notified that we will be inspected by Estyn from Monday 8th October to Thursday 11th October 2018.   We would like to encourage parents and carers to attend a meeting at the school with the inspectors on Monday 8th October at 3.30pm in the school hall.  This meeting allows parents to express their views on the school through a series of questions.

Head Boy and Head Girl Our Head Boy and Head Girl presentations recently took place in our school. Each pupil had the opportunity to vote for the two positions. We are pleased to announce our Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl.
