iOS 9 released tomorrow

iOS 9  will be released on Wednesday 16th September.
Maps now includes public transport information, big
improvements have been made to the Notes app,you can now create a checklist, add a photo or sketch.
News app will be a one stop shop for all your news articles, it will gather stories based on your interests, and display them in one place.

Multitasking features, such as picture in picture watch a video whilst typing an e-mail, or split view, open two apps at the same time.

Windows Server 2012 upgrades

We have upgraded 122 servers to Windows Server 2012 during the summer holidays, which have included central servers as well as the servers in the schools. This has been a huge undertaking, and for such a major upgrade, has caused minimal disruption to schools.

Helping schools manage iPads effectivley

This summer we have worked with:
Twyn Primary - 60+ iPads
Coed-Y-Brain Primary - 53 iPads
Bedwas Infants - 18 iPads
Bedwas Junior - 30 iPads
St Gwladys Bargoed - 60+ iPads

To help them manage their iPads more effectively, ensuring they are licensed correctly with Apple's volume purchasing programme, with the aim to release more of a teachers time to teach.
