Welsh Goverment - filtering standards.

We are adopting the Welsh Governments recommended web filtering standards.  The most significant change as part of the these recommendations will be the introduction of access to YouTube for both staff and students. The changes will come into effect from September 1st for all Primary school and for Secondary schools as they are moved to the new internet filter.

Prior to the end of term we were busy implementing a new internet filter and have all primary schools using the new system,  with Secondary school implementation planned for completion by the end of September.  As with any new system there will always be a few teething issues initially so we would encourage you to log helpdesk calls should you experience any issues.
